About Us:
Opal Personnel is currently working with a lovely veterinary clinic in Bristol who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. The practice pride themselves on delivering high-quality veterinary services with a compassionate approach. They offer a wide range of services, including general veterinary care, surgery, diagnostics, and preventive care.
The Role:
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a key role in providing high standards of medical and surgical care to their patients. You will work in a well-equipped environment with access to modern diagnostic tools and support from a skilled veterinary nursing team.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a dedicated veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Confidence in general practice, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit are essential. This role is ideal for someone looking for stability, flexibility, and a positive working culture without the pressure of sole charge or OOH work.
Salary: £35,672 per annum (based on part-time hours)
Hours: 24.5 hours per week over 2 days
Shift Pattern: Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:30am – 7:00pm
Weekends: 1 in 4 (Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm, Sunday 10:30am–4:30pm)
Out of Hours: None
On-Call: None
Sole Charge: Rare – only in exceptional circumstances (e.g., sickness and holiday overlap)
Branch Work: None
